Work defines a man. And we are called to the work of the Almighty.

Numbers 6

כא  זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַנָּזִיר, אֲשֶׁר יִדֹּר, קָרְבָּנוֹ לַיהוָה עַל-נִזְרוֹ, מִלְּבַד אֲשֶׁר-תַּשִּׂיג יָדוֹ; כְּפִי נִדְרוֹ, אֲשֶׁר יִדֹּר--כֵּן יַעֲשֶׂה, עַל תּוֹרַת נִזְרוֹ.  {פ}    21 

This is the law of the Nazirite who voweth, and of his offering unto the LORD for his Naziriteship, beside that for which his means suffice; 

according to his vow which he voweth, so he must do after the law of his Naziriteship. {P}

כב  וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.    22 

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

כג  דַּבֵּר אֶל-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל-בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר, כֹּה תְבָרְכוּ אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל:  אָמוֹר, לָהֶם.  {ס}    23 

'Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying: 

On this wise ye shall bless the sons of Israel; 

ye shall say unto them: {S}

כד  יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ.  {ס}    24 

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee; {S}

כה  יָאֵר יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ.  {ס}    25 

The LORD make His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; {S}

כו  יִשָּׂא יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם.  {ס}    26 

The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. {S}

כז  וְשָׂמוּ אֶת-שְׁמִי, עַל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל; וַאֲנִי, אֲבָרְכֵם.  {ס}    27 

So shall they put My name [work] upon the sons of Israel, and I will bless them.' {S}

Chapter 7

א  וַיְהִי בְּיוֹם כַּלּוֹת מֹשֶׁה לְהָקִים אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן, וַיִּמְשַׁח אֹתוֹ וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו, וְאֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ, וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו; וַיִּמְשָׁחֵם, וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתָם.    1 

And it came to pass on the day that Moses had made an end of setting up the tabernacle, and had anointed it and sanctified it, and all the furniture thereof, and the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them and sanctified them;

ב  וַיַּקְרִיבוּ נְשִׂיאֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, רָאשֵׁי בֵּית אֲבֹתָם:  הֵם נְשִׂיאֵי הַמַּטֹּת, הֵם הָעֹמְדִים עַל-הַפְּקֻדִים.    2 

that the princes of Israel, the heads of their fathers' houses, offered--

these were the princes of the tribes, these are they that were over them that were numbered.

ג  וַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת-קָרְבָּנָם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, שֵׁשׁ-עֶגְלֹת צָב וּשְׁנֵי עָשָׂר בָּקָר--עֲגָלָה עַל-שְׁנֵי הַנְּשִׂאִים, וְשׁוֹר לְאֶחָד; וַיַּקְרִיבוּ אוֹתָם, לִפְנֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן.    3 

And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen: a wagon for every two of the princes, and for each one an ox; 

and they presented them before the tabernacle.

ד  וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.    4 

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:

ה  קַח, מֵאִתָּם, וְהָיוּ, לַעֲבֹד אֶת-עֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד; וְנָתַתָּה אוֹתָם אֶל-הַלְוִיִּם, אִישׁ כְּפִי עֲבֹדָתוֹ.    5 

'Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tent of meeting; 

and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.'

ו  וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה, אֶת-הָעֲגָלֹת וְאֶת-הַבָּקָר; וַיִּתֵּן אוֹתָם, אֶל-הַלְוִיִּם.    6 

And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.

ז  אֵת שְׁתֵּי הָעֲגָלוֹת, וְאֵת אַרְבַּעַת הַבָּקָר--נָתַן, לִבְנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן:  כְּפִי, עֲבֹדָתָם.    7 

Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service.

ח  וְאֵת אַרְבַּע הָעֲגָלֹת, וְאֵת שְׁמֹנַת הַבָּקָר--נָתַן, לִבְנֵי מְרָרִי:  כְּפִי, עֲבֹדָתָם, בְּיַד אִיתָמָר, בֶּן-אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן.    8 

And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

ט  וְלִבְנֵי קְהָת, לֹא נָתָן:  כִּי-עֲבֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ עֲלֵהֶם, בַּכָּתֵף יִשָּׂאוּ.    9 

But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none, because the service of the holy things belonged unto them: they bore them upon their shoulders.

י  וַיַּקְרִיבוּ הַנְּשִׂאִים, אֵת חֲנֻכַּת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ, בְּיוֹם, הִמָּשַׁח אֹתוֹ; וַיַּקְרִיבוּ הַנְּשִׂיאִם אֶת-קָרְבָּנָם, לִפְנֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.    10 

And the princes brought the dedication-offering of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes brought their offering before the altar.

יא  וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה:  נָשִׂיא אֶחָד לַיּוֹם, נָשִׂיא אֶחָד לַיּוֹם, יַקְרִיבוּ אֶת-קָרְבָּנָם, לַחֲנֻכַּת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.  {ס}    11 

And the LORD said unto Moses: 

'They shall present their offering each prince on his day, for the dedication of the altar.' {S}
